Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

The cabin is stocked with coffee, robes, and disposable slippers to make it feel like home away from home. Guests are welcome to any fresh garden fruits or free range yard eggs while staying on the property. We have put some extra thought into the little details to help make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

Come relax and take in the sites at this waterfront house on the bayou! You’re welcome to bring a pole and fish off the dock or hop in a kayak and explore the swamp. The outside deck is equipped for boat/jet ski docking, and the canal leads to the Tickfaw River. There is plenty of room inside and out to spend quality time with friends and family. It is 10 minutes to local dining and 45 minutes to Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans. There are 4 kayaks available!
