Huset ligger ude i den fri natur i smukke omgivelser tilbagetrukket fra offentlig vej. Der er ikke direkte adgang med bil til huset, der er en frisk tur på ca 100 meter at gå opad en skråning til huset. Du må bære kufferten op til hytten. Det er et perfekt sted til at slappe af og nyde naturen. Huset er beliggende ved siden af en å, som skaber en hyggelig stemning.

Welcome to our cozy home in the middle of Hvalvík in the beautiful nature of The Faroe Islands. You will be located 9 km away from Saksun. A beautiful tourist attraction with breathtaking nature and a historical church. If you take a 1 minute walk you have the opportunity to see old church built in 1829. A church that is constructed with the same materials as our own home. Grocery store and a liquor store is 5 minutes away We hope you enjoy your stay!

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
