"The Roost" is rustic but not primitive treehouse 2 hrs south of St Louis near Wappapello Lake. Yes it has indoor plumbing & running water. Accommodates two adults, has a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast items are provided for you to cook. Surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace.

Art Barn in the Country/Working Metal Art Studio

Come and enjoy our peaceful country setting surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife. We have a walking trail with a couple of exercise stations and 2 holes of pasture golf and 2 baskets for disc golf. There is a pickle ball/basketball court, lit dance floor and room to play outdoor games. You might want to enjoy an evening picnic in the lit tree area. Our open vistas provide for great cloud and star watching as well as amazing sunrises and sunsets. Outdoor seating on front and back porches.

Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

Sage Cottage is located in the beautiful Pottawatomie County in our own Oaklore Forest. The cottage sleeps two on our queen size bed, Has a mini-kitchen and 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. We hope you’ll enjoy this unique covered bridge conversion, expanding from bank to bank with a 50-foot front deck. Breakfast provided the first day includes fresh fruit, a half dozen eggs, and muffins, coffee and tea.
