You can walk to Gion, Ponto-cho, Shijo-Kawaramachi and Higashiyama area (Kiyomizu Temple, Koudai-ji Temple). So this location is convenient for sightseeing around Kyoto. 3rd floor is very modern and stylish and 4th floor is Japanese-style. There is a wonderful view from our balcony, and you can overlook the Kamo river. Please enjoy different atmospheres of each floor.

Sakura River Inn 1 (Experience life by the river!)

Sakura River Inn is a traditional Japanese building once inhabited by a real geisha, preserving the timeless charm of old Kyoto. Featuring classic design and a cozy kotatsu, guests can relax, sleep on tatami and enjoy an authentic experience. We opened this guest house in October, 2017. It is the middle of downtown in Kyoto. It is 5 minutes walk from Kawaramachi station(Hankyu line). From Shijo station, it is 10 minutes walk. From Shijo station to Kyoto station is 4 minutes by subway. Our guest house is next to Shin-kyogoku dori, there are many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenient stores, fashion items, 100yen stores.... It is easy to access to Nishiki-ichiba(we called the kitchen of Kyoto, market), Teramachi dori, Gion on foot.
