The popular surf spots at Trestles beach at San Mateo point is just about one mile away, while San Onofre State Beach is just under 2 miles away, making this vacation rental a great choice for surfers and families wanting to catch some Southern California waves and sun! Please feel free to reach out for any questions, concerns or travel advice! This is a quiet and safe neighborhood with golf course near by. We are down the street from the Rip Curl Store. This is a residential area located NEXT to the 5 freeway for convenient access. This can cause very mild traffic noise from the 5, however, there are multiple hotels and other vacation rentals on the same street which does not seem to bother many guests. Easy access to freeway allowing for quick and easy travel to multiple sought-after destinations such as San Diego Zoo, Lego Land, Disneyland and many others! Close to Camp Pendleton, multiple hiking trails, for example Cleveland National Forest, several golf courses and of course, famous Southern California beaches. Getting around: San Clemente Summer Weekend Trolly - FREE- taking you from a near by stop every 15 minutes all around beautiful San Clemente! Uber, Lyft and taxis are readily available! Amtrak, Pacific Surfliner Route - train - takes you from San Clemente to Sea World, all the way to Downtown San Diego. Heading north, the Surfliner takes you directly through Anaheim, making your ticket to Disneyland worry free. Not to mention, this convenient train will take you all the way to Los Angeles. While our priority is to insure you enjoy your stay, we ask that you please respect our home and our neighbors. It is a very private beach cottage style house with open beam ceilings, and a double car garage and is close to everything you could ever want in the beach village of San Clemente.

This cottage is located in the heart of Dana Point, a beautiful and uncongested beach community! A 5 minute walk finds you at the nearby town center and new downtown area where you can find restaurants, nightclubs and shopping. Down the street is Dana Point Harbor/marina and the famous Doheny Beach surfing and park or get-away to Catalina Island or whale watching! The Cottage is a great pet friendly with enclosed front and rear yards, a great alternative to the over priced resorts.
