Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

Built in 1914, the Edwardian era building maintains its classic architecture while modern renovations, including sleek cabinetry, quartz counters, a spacious glass enclosed shower and a calm colour palette of cool grays, bring the period space up to date. The spacious guest suite is over 1300 square feet in size. With windows on 4 sides of the building, light pours into the space.

With only 20 minutes to San Francisco and an easy drive to the Wine Country or further up the coast it makes it a perfect home for your California coast adventure!

This beautiful and spacious Mediterranean-style private studio (550 sq. ft.) is located within my primary residence in the lovely Monterey Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. I live on-site and occupy the residence during guest stays. Guests enjoy a private, comfortable space with their own entrance, while I am nearby if assistance is needed.
