This funny neighborhood feature is a short walk away. Walking down Denver Avenue will take you through downtown Kenton (coffee, restaurants, library, shopping). Our kids love his "Big Boots" and "Looking up his nose." When we walk away they ask for "More Paul Bunyan!" Plus the Max will go by at some point and everyone can check out "the train!"

Parks & Nature
We walk to this park several times a week. Sand box, swings, xylophone, tennis courts, slide built into a hill, merry-go-round-thing. This is one of Portland's first "Harper's Playgrounds" An innovative design incorporating accessibility. Harper lived in the neighborhood and her parents said, We need a really great playground that is wheelchair accessible. They got funding from the Blazers and other local donors to make it happen. It is also pesticide and herbicide free.
