Worth the drive (and the wait!) for their brunch scene, especially the biscuits and scrambles. Try the mushroom gravy, and order a side of potato pancakes!

One of our go-to local restaurants five minutes' walk from Hummingbird House. Great drinks, a wide variety of fresh and cooked items on the menu, and excellent lunch specials.

Craving a slice? Baby Doll is one of our favorite pizzerias for an NY-style slice (or as close as you can get on the west coast!) For a change of pace, try their "nonna style" pizza on a fluffy focaccia crust. And if you're getting take-out, remember - they offer beer and wine to go!
