Great atmosphere, fairly casual, incredible food, and great value. The gnocchi and the beef cheeks here are to die for. This is our favourite restaurant in all of St. John's.

We are probably at Manna every week. Get their famous breaded chicken sandwich on pretzel bread, or a freshly-baked loaf of bread. Fantastic and cheap desserts as well.

If you're looking for a fun day trip, Carbonear is a great spot to visit! It's only an hour away. Enjoy lunch at the Stone Jug, which has awesome pizzas and casual food and a beautiful dining area. On Water Street, you'll find a few local shops, an art gallery, coffee shop, and other stores within a 5 minute walk.

Snorkelling with whales is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience that I'm so glad to have done myself! They also offer diving and kayaking tours. Please note that most tours leave out of Petty Harbour.
