If you like the Last Kingdom then you could go and visit Bamburgh Castle. The castle is in great condition and worth a look around, however, you do have to pay. There are some great views from the grounds inside the castle.

A must visit, it is only about 30 minutes from the Three C's. Remember you can only get on and off the island at low tide, so check the timings before you go. The drive across to the island itself is breathe taking, and there are some amazing sights when you are there, local shops & Pubs to enjoy. The views are worth the trip itself. https://www.visitnorthumberland.com/explore/destinations/islands/holy-island

Described by Sir David Attenborough as ‘one of the 12 wildlife wonders of the world’, the Bass Rock is a sanctuary for gannets, hosting over 150,000 of them during peak breeding season. Not only is it the closest bird sanctuary to the mainland, but it also saw the first ornithologists, who gave the gannet the scientific term Sula Bassana or Morus Bassanus. Notably, they gave this glistening rock, which boasts the largest ‘single rock’ colony of northern gannets on the planet. There are regular boats trips from North Berwick that you can take to get a better view of Bass Rock

Great place to visit and see these wild cattle They are the only wild cattle in the world, sole survivors of herds that once roamed the forests of Britain. Once they were held sacred and pre-Christian pagans sacrificed them to their gods. Later in their history, this herd both defended and fed the castle. These animals are still potentially dangerous and can only be visited with the Warden, who will take you as close as safely possible and explain their more recent history and way of life. Remember, they are rarer than any endangered Panda or Mountain Gorilla, and are simply the only wild cattle in the world. Visit www.chillinghamwildcattle.com for more information.

a busy town centre, lots to do and explore there, with beaches, shops and a range of restaurants - 10 minute drive away. You will need to take the parking disc with you that is in the bowl, display it on your dashboard, you generally get around three hours free parking with it but do double check
