This studio is located in Welches, OR. It is the perfect location to access recreational activities in the Mt Hood area - only 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline or Meadows. Freshly updated space with a shared entry, the studio is on the second floor, inside the main house. It has a private bathroom and many amenities including Wi-Fi, internet, smart TV, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, kettle. We live in the house. You may occasionally hear noises and footsteps. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional retreat space, featured in Dwell. Designed and created with so much love, and with the hope that guests could immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. You will love the large windows, the wood stove, and the calming aesthetic. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
