Our house is a half mile from downtown San Rafael. It is a 1/2 acre with goats, organic gardens, and a pool. It is a farm and resort all in one! We have a bay and city view from almost every room in the house. Wineries 20 miles away. Don't' worry if you're not interested in the farm, the unit is far enough away that you will not be bothered by it. For those who love a good petting zoo, feel free to visit our friendly animals. *NOTE: the pool is solar heated and is only open JUNE 1- OCTOBER 31. Private, quiet, peaceful family or couple-friendly rustic farm cottage, wine country retreat with a private pool minutes away from wineries, like Schug, Gloria Ferrar, Viansa, Ram's Gate and Sonoma town square. Solar-heated pool is open June-October. We are locked in by three dead-end roads, so it's very quiet. Large deck, large pool patio, kids' play structure, and more. Horses are our neighbors and life slows down here.

You’ll love the views, the location, the goats, quail running around and delicious cafe next door. We just lost our mini horse 7/27 :( we had 16 years, sorry if you had planned on meeting him, it was a sad loss for us.

Surrounded by roses, lilac and a vineyard, on a two acre lot, the SummerHouse offers a unique experience to its guests. Just two and a half miles from the downtown square, the cottage remains a respite from the tourist hustle and bustle.
