Sundari Retreat

Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. The Gecko Bach, Tiny Home Accomodation

Continental breakfast provided for first 2nights of your stay. The Bach is small but big on comfort- hopefully there is everything you need! An outdoor bath & use of our spa. Only 2min walk to coffee & walking tracks; 8-10 min walk to train/bus station, supermarkets, library, restaurants, cafes. Raumati Bch & shops are a 20min walk or catch a bus -bus stop outside the gate We are a smoke/vape free property. Listed for 4 using pallet couch as double bed. We hope you have a wonderful stay :)

Paekakariki Studio Paradise

Situated in one of the best spots in Paekakariki is this light and airy studio. What a view! Watch the sunset from the comfy king bed and listen to the waves gently waking you up in the morning. Comfortable Ecosa 2.5 seater sofabed available. Ideal for couples & older kids welcome. Studio is connected to house via garage but have own seperate access, kitchenette and bathroom with shower & all the basics. 2m wide driveway, large vehicles not recommended. Walking distance beach, village & train.

The Shed - a contemporary annex near the beach

A multi purpose contemporary space. It offers a seperate bedroom and bathroom. In the living area there is a double sofabed, seating and dining plus a 75 inch smart TV and Sky TV. The bedroom has a TV with chromecast . Guests are welcome to use the outdoor area and spa pool located next to the main house. A continental breakfast is supplied. Close to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We have 2 German Spitz dogs, very friendly. 2 adults will be considered a couple unless otherwise stated.

Popular Raumati Beach ( safe swimming, surf casting, water sports) is down a shared driveway one minute away. There is a small deck and sunny outdoor seating area. The studio is accessed up stairs so not suitable for guests with limited physical ability. Short walk to Raumati Village.
