Visit Moscow's award-winning farmer's market on Saturdays or the downtown restaurants! The University of Idaho is less than a 1/4 mile from your front door. Come enjoy all that Moscow has to offer! Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

The Barnard Stockbridge historic photography museum is just a few steps away, and stroll a block further to be in the downtown Wallace core with all the shops, museums, bars, restaurants, and activities.
