From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

DuPont Forest Trailside Cabin

Enjoy everything Western NC has to offer from this spacious, private, and comfortable log cabin home. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming and waterfalls are all available in the adjacent Dupont State Forest. The cabin is 15 minutes from Pisgah National Forest and 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Brevard. AS OF 2025 there is high speed Wifi (Starlink), and as a result great cell service. AND THERE IS NO LONGER A CARETAKER ON THE PROPERTY so guests have the whole property to themselves.

We call it our “ barn house.” It is located down a private drive surrounded by beautiful horses and other animals. We are close to I-26 and the airport. Restaurants and theaters are 5 minutes away. **Due to the beginning of a housing construction project in the acreage behind us, there could be possible noise from Monday thru Friday. Be aware of this before you book.
