Welcome to Hacienda de las Rosas, retreat, and home of Hacienda Happy Tails, an Animal Sanctuary. We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! The house is magical inside and out, with unique curved walls and ceilings, facing a seasonal pond and home to much wildlife. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond. Please note the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is down an external staircase. There is no oven.

We are located in Sequoia National Forest, about 1.5 hrs. from the Park. We are unable to remove this from our page.
