The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

The cottage is a 2 bedroom mid terrace which sleeps 4 people. It comprises of entrance hall front living room with entertainment wall hosting the 58” smart TV. The dining room has a log burner. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher. A fully fitted bathroom with double ended bath and separated corner showeR. Oil central heating with double glazed anthracite windows and doors. Free car parking places front and rear of the property and a block paved private seating area.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Winner of Maine Homes Small Space Design Award 2023 We are located on the private 80-acre Shapleigh Pond in the Southern Maine, an hour from Portland and two hours from Boston. Experience a bygone era in this restored Schoolhouse circa 1866 with many original details such as oversized glass-paned windows, wood plank floors, chalkboards, tin ceiling and more. Modern amenities such as fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, gas BBQ and access to our pool (June-Sept), pond and tennis court.

It’s set on its own private garden where you can truly enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing place and is also an ideal base for discovering so much including the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Penninsula.
