Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

(3.5 km dirt/ gravel road) The house is done in a true farmhouse, rustic style with a lovely interior and lots of atmosphere. Well suited for a big family or 2 or 3 couples. Lovely 360' views with a view on a dam and wild life like zebras, impalas and waterbucks grazing in the estate. A true beauty for nature lovers.

Our holiday home features three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and two double bed bedrooms, one bathroom in the main part of the house and an additional bathroom past the kitchen next to the office/study. Additionally, it boasts a semi-open plan kitchen, living room with large windows overlooking the conservancy and access to a generous patio. The house is located on the edge of Bester street right next to one of the walking trails and conservancy.
