It is perfect for those who love wild swimming and paddle boarding, as well as those wishing to stay on terra firma and watch the world go by. It is a 2 minute climb up the stone steps, through the iconic Barracks Ope and out onto the Old High Street (or 4 minutes if you want to avoid the steps!). Seabirds Cottage is a lovely one-bedroom hideaway located by the back of the Tate gallery, just a couple of minutes' walk from glorious Porthmeor beach, the harbour and St Ives' wide array of boutique shops and restaurants. The cottage is cosy, bright and cheerful, and being hidden away in a secluded location, it is unusually quiet for central St Ives. It has its own private entrance and a small outdoor area with attractive planting to enjoy a morning coffee or evening sundowner.
