Revamped Penthouse with Panoramic View Terrace

Gaze out across the city from this tastefully designed home. The residence features stark whites, light wood flooring throughout, chic furnishings, an open-plan layout living area, and stairs up to the loft bedroom. The apartment building does not have an elevator. This lovely duplex is located on the third floor of a newly renovated century-old traditional Lisbon apartment building. The bottom floor of the apartment has two bedrooms (one of which has a lovely balcony), a bathroom and open kitchen and living room. The top floor has a second bathroom, living room (that can be used as a 3rd bedroom) with sofa bed and access to the apartment's pièce de résistance, its rooftop terrace. There is air conditioning in every room so that you can enjoy your stay year-round, without fear of the weather. All throughout the apartment, there is plenty of natural light and large double-paned windows that provide picturesque views of the city below. The kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances, including stove, oven, microwave oven, dish washer, refrigerator/freezer combo, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, as well as all the pots and pans, utensils, silverware and plates for your meals. Additionally, the apartment has a washer, iron and ironing board. We provide fresh towels and bed linen, so there is no need to bring your own. In the living room area, sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy the large-screen 42 inch LED television, with cable. Each of the bathrooms features a spacious walk-in shower with large rainfall shower head. A baby crib and highchair are available upon request. Guests have access to the entire apartment and are encouraged to use the cable TV, 100 Mbps Internet with wireless access and especially, the rooftop terrace. We hope that you fall in love with our beloved city and we're happy to answer any questions you may have in advance of your stay to help you plan your trip. A host will be present to greet you and give you a tour of the apartment when you arrive. The apartment is located in the traditional neighborhood of Arroios and just off the Arroios Market. The local bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and shops of Rua Morais Soares are all very close by, while Largo do Intendente, is a 10 minute walk away. The Arroios subway station (green line) is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment, whereas both the Alameda subway station (red line) and Anjos subway station (green line) are each a single hop away (or each a mere 750m walking distance) from the apartment. Besides the subway, there are plenty of bus stops nearby that provide transportation to various parts of Lisbon. The building does not have an elevator, so please be prepared to make the climb to the 3rd floor.

The Apartment The apartment has been recently restored and it is located in Mouraria, a very authentic Lisbon neighborhood in the city center, allowing you to enjoy Lisbon's true spirit. The Neighborhood - The best location to discover Lisbon The best thing about the apartment is its great location: - walking distance of many of Lisbon's finest districts including Baixa, Graça, Alfama, Bairro Alto and the city castle - 5 minutes walk away from metro ('Martim Moniz' station) and tram (number 28E (the 'tourists tram') and 15E (to Belém)) - 10 minutes walk away from the beautiful Rossio train station (to go to Sintra) - 1 minute walk away from two local mini supermarkets and 500 meters away from LIDL How to get here If you are flying to Lisbon, there are two options: - the taxi. It costs approx. 15 euros and it takes approx. 15 minutes (after you spend a while in the queue). - the metro, that you can catch at the airport station (red line). It costs approx. 2 euros per person and it takes approx. 40 minutes to get to your exit station: the 'Martim Moniz' station (green line). If you are coming by train (exiting on 'Oriente' or 'Santa Apolónia' train stations), you can catch the metro and exit at the 'Martim Moniz' station. About the house: it's a brand new apartment in total renovate building (re build in April 2016) with lift, in the 2nd floor of a 4 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in April 2016. It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. We will provide you linen and towels; the kitchen is equipped with all cutlery, espresso machine, microwave and washing machine. In the toilette you have a hair dryer, shower gel and toilet paper. There's an iron in the apartment, etc… you don't have to bring any of those things. Air conditioned are available for hotter days. You'll have wireless Internet, so if you'll need to connect, bring your devices ☺ You can find also tourist information in the apartment…but we will share some already with you. Enjoy it! Ehemaliges Fischerhaus über zwei Etagen mit privatem Innenhof. Architektonische Highlights im marokkanischen Stil. Gelegen im schönen, alten Ortskern von Salema. Der ausgezeichnete Strand ist weniger als eine Gehminute entfernt. Vom Eingang aus gelangt man in den offenen Küchen-, Wohn- und Essbereich mit Blick in den oasenhaften Innenhof, der mit hochwertigen Steinarbeiten ansprechend gestaltet ist. Ein kleiner dekorativer Pool (nicht zum Schwimmen) rundet das behagliche Ambiente ab. Mit einem Buch in der Hand und den Füßen im kalten Wasserbecken lässt es sich hier an heißen Sommertagen herrlich entspannen und in aller Ruhe Kraft tanken. Das Bad mit Doppeldusche und Dusch-WC befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die beiden offenen Schlafräume im Obergeschoss sind ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Queensize-Bett unter der gemütlichen Dachschräge. Jeder Schlafraum hat direkten Zugang zur Sonnenterasse mit Loungemöbeln. Herrliche Nachtruhe, man hört den Wind in den Palmen und entfernt die Brandung. Die Gäste haben Zugang zu allen Bereichen, da sie das gesamte Haus mieten. Für alle Fragen sind wir erreichbar (Mail und Telefon) und haben Leute vor Ort, die das Haus betreuen und behilflich sein können. Salema ist ein charmantes Fischerdorf, vom Strand aus werden Ausflüge mit dem Boot angeboten. Im Hinterland lockt der Gebirgszug Monchique mit heilenden Quellen. Weitere Aktivitäten sind Reiten, Yoga, diverse Wasser- und Freizeitparks, Wassersport wie Segeln, Jetski oder Surfen. Am Cabo de Sao Vincente lassen sich wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge erleben.
