Or take the opportunity to stay indoors in the heated/air conditioned garage and start your own pool tournament. *This sits on our active cattle ranch, the driveway is shared by us.

Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

This beautiful and cozy newly constructed guest house is a perfect modern space for a single, family or group getaway! Sleeps 4 adults with king bedroom and ultra plush full queen sofa sleeper in living room , two electric fireplaces, two TVs, full kitchen, heated concrete floors and three blocks from downtown restaurants, shopping and walking trails and several areas parks. Furnished dining patio and seasonally available gas grill. No pets or parties please. All guests must be registered.

Welcome to a backyard getaway that will drop your mouth in awe. Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

The Fika House

Relax and have 'Fika' to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. This traditional 'Four Square' farmhouse provides a peaceful environment whether you have come to the area for a family or class reunion, for business, or for a get-away from city life. Located on a paved road and only 4 miles from Jackson, it is the perfect location to rest. 'Fika' is the Swedish term that translates to stopping for a moment to enjoy a coffee, a sweet treat, and the companions you are with.

Whether you're planning a trip to New Ulm to visit family, partake in one of our cities many festivals or looking for a quiet retreat, we'd love to have you be our guests in this newly renovated cape cod home! The home can sleep 8 adults very comfortably, but the nightly pricing is set for two occupants and additional guests are $30 per person. This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

The Maple House is a spacious home with a large kitchen, dining room and living room. The laundry room is conveniently located in the front entry. A patio door in the living room leads to a large deck with patio furniture. Upstairs has a large open bedroom with three beds and a walk in closet. Country living close to all the action without the noise. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

City of Lakes Loft

Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes! Cleaning fee included in the nightly rate.
