To the rear of the cottage is the iconic 140 mile C2C cycle path, which can be walked & leads into the coastal town of Whitehaven. Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

Newly refurbished Grainger Cottage is a delightful traditional cottage set in the coastal village of St Bees, just a five minute walk to the sandy beach, local pubs, rail station .Dog friendly with a private garden at the rear. The ground floor consists: entrance hall; lounge with wood burning stove, & TV; well equipped kitchen; utility room with washing m/c and toilet. Upstairs: two bedrooms (1 kingsize & 1 double bed) bathroom with bath & separate shower. The cottage has gas central heating.

( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Ideal for two people, this cosy little cottage annexe is near to Cockermouth and is in the Lake District National Park surrounded by views of the Western Fells and views to the Galloway hills of Scotland. 14 miles to the beautiful Lakeland town of Keswick and in close proximity to the Western Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere, Ennerdale Water, Crummock Water and Loweswater. A beautiful beach on the Solway Coast is only 12 miles away.

The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Entrance is directly into the studio accommodation, consisting of a well fitted kitchen, dining facilities for two, and a comfortable compact sitting/sleeping area. Armchairs give way across the room to a wrought iron double-bed. There is a separate shower room with WC and washbasin.

Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building.
