Sit back & relax in front of the fireplace while enjoying the 55" smart TV - or enjoy a book in the lofted reading nook. A complete kitchen allows guests to make a full meal & the dining table with 4-seats allows guests to sit down to enjoy it. The chaise sofa converts into a full bed for a 2nd sleeping area. Downtown is only a short stroll away.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.

Lake House Cabin next to lake with hot tub

This cabin was built in the 1920's by my great grandfather. IThe cabin has a massive porch with a fire table and gas grill. There’s is a 6 person hot tub. The house is full of Adirondack taxidermy and fish that I have caught over the years. There are 2 bedrooms on first floor and a loft with a queen bed. This house has great views of Lake Algonquin. It is directly across street from lake with access for boating, fishing and snowmobiling in winter. There's a full kitchen.

Off street parking, free WiFi and breakfast included. My home is a quick 5 min walk to Emma Willard School, 1.5 miles to RPI, and 2 miles to Russell Sage College.
