Walk to Newport Beach from a Warm Studio

Newport Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches is fast becoming an exclusive holiday destination for Australian and International holiday-makers alike. If night life or a faster pace is more your style then Manly is less than half an hour by car, travelling South. From here the Manly ferry can take you across Sydney Harbour to the CBD for a day of sightseeing. The beach is less than 5 minutes down one end of the road and should you chose to explore the other end of the road, you'll find the historic Bungan Castle, built in 1919. Majestically perched on the headland overlooking Bungan Beach, every stone of this castle was brought over by its German owner and it is now heritage listed. Cute and quirky 3-bedroom 1920's cottage

Cicada Glen Cottage is a beautiful, unique place to stay. The cottage is situated at the rear of a semi rural property that is home to a native nursery and bush regeneration business. It is an 8 minute drive to Mona Vale and the beach. The cottage was built in the 1920s with many of the original features retained giving it a very quirky character. Unfortunately the cottage isn't suitable for children under 12 yrs due to the water features and vintage glass used in the original windows.
