From the shores of Kanagawa to the streets of Madrid, my journey is as intricate as my work. I left Japan at 20 to pursue my passion for textile art across continents, and have spent two decades shaping the next generation of designers through university teaching. At Atelier Aletheia, the haute couture brand I co-direct, I combine European tailoring with the heritage techniques of Japanese textile traditions.
