If you want to eat with the locals and get a hearty, stick to your ribs breakfast, this is the place. The servers are the nicest on earth and you won't leave hungry! Don't forget to sign your name on the map on the wall by the cash register! Get there early in case biscuits are running low and remember, they close at 2 and aren't open on Sundays.

This is a beautiful park that was land rescued in 1996 to commemorate Tennessee's Bicentennial. Stroll the grounds to see granite walls engraved with Tennessee's history back to BC days; take the kiddies to the splash pads on hot days; enjoy Tennessee tunes from the bell towers; see the WWII memorial and walk across the street one way to the Nashville Sounds Stadium or the other way to the Farmer's Market for vittles and sundries - you can't lose with an afternoon at this locale! Also, look South and you'll see the Capitol up on the hill.

Enjoy iconic films, film noir, and hard-to-find gems in this Nashville landmark. (You'll also find an article detailing the Belcourt Theatre, past and present, hanging on my hallway wall, written by Sarah Shepherd, my daughter)
