Something that is a particular London quirk is Irish pubs that serve Thai food. I don’t know how it started or why, but it’s a great idea.

Do you like Thai Food? This is a very traditional feeling British pub, that serves delicious Thai food. Again, it's off the beaten path and has a lot of locals. They often have live, folky, music in the evenings. It's warm and cozy on cold days, and has a nice garden out the back, on the warm ones. Highly recommended as one of the area's better, less touristy pubs
