The main city centre is easily accessible walk or cycle along the pretty Water of Leith Walkway, this is a pretty 1 hour walk or 20 minute cycle to the centre of town, passing parks and trendy Stockbridge. Alternatively there is a bus stop near the flat or the taxi number below.

A walk along the Water of Leith is to explore hidden, leafy parts of the city. Especially lovely is the stretch between Stockbridge and the Modern Art Galleries, via Dean Village.

The Water of Leith is the main river flowing through Edinburgh, Scotland, to the port of Leith where it flows into the sea via the Firth of Forth. It is 35 km long and rises in the Colzium Springs.

You can walk from port to city centre feeling that you are outdoors. Difficult to believe that you can walk by the river , mostly surrounded by trees thought the middle of the city
