Castle Island is a short drive or bike ride away providing waterfront access to the Boston Harbor. The park has sweeping views of the City and Harbor Islands. While your there stop by Sullivans for a Hot Dog or Lobster Roll.

The site of a fort erected in 1634, Castle Island is a great place to walk, jog or just unwind and enjoy the view by the water. There is a nearby skating rink as well. This place is further out of the way but so worth going! It's a personal favorite of mine and boasts a gorgeous view of the water and a great place for picnics, swimming on the beach, or simply relaxing. Locals LOVE this place and you will be able to see the diversity of Boston's population converging in one common space to indulge and take advantage of the hot weather and space here.

There is a tour available and/or just a great place to get Sullivan's ice cream and walk around, relax on the green or the beach.
