While traveling it can sometimes be a challenge to find healthy food places. This summer I discovered Maka Maka - a restaurant in the Old Town of Split that offers poke, açai and smoothie bowls. The bowls cost between 80-90 HRK, so I wouldn't recommend going there every day. But it's definitely worth trying once! The place is about a 15-minute walk from the studio. Price range: $$$$ Distance from studio: 1km

Healty and tasty! They have also vegeterian and vegan options. Very good juices and smoothies.

Started as a small shop for healthy bowls, mostly for breakfast. In the last couple of years grew into a really great spot and one of my top recommended places. Introduced sushi recently and have to say it is absolutely fantastic. Really nicely decorated space with a wonderful service. Having a coffee with the owner almost every day and I know that he is doing all that he can to ensure his customers have the top food quality and service provided.
