This is where the locals go to shop for cheap essentials. This is also a wet market. However you can also find here cheap pasalubongs such as native handmade crafts, dried fish or squid and also dried delicacies such as dried mangos and more.
Where you can buy fresh food, anything you need from clothing,foods,furniture,”ukay-ukay”,construction materials, restaurants and where you can find lots of wholesaler merchandise.
Non pretentious, authentic public market. Don't wear jewelries, don't bring valuables. Just bring enough money for shopping, fare. If you don't have a strong stomach, dont try the street food. There's the souvenir section for mats, baskets, decors. There's a fruit section, flower section, wet market can get really messy. A few steps from the market, walk towards San Jose School & near the San Jose Church, you can ride horse drawn carriage, we call kalesa. Ask for the fare, it should be around twenty pesos & that brings you to another market, PASIL where you will find dried fish, dried mangoes.

This is THE place for the freshest and cheapest fruits and vegetables. The night market often has the best deals. Just be a bit careful...don't flash valuables and hold on to your belongings.
