An urban hike but the only "hill" around. Park on Mt Pleasant side or Charleston side and walk (or bike) the entire length or just partway. Stellar views from above the Cooper River.

The views from the top are among the best in the city. You can see the "skyline" of Charleston along with a scenic view of the Charleston harbor.

The pedestrian path along the bridge provides breathtaking views of downtown and the harbor from the top. One of our favorite ways to start the day. Convenient parking from either side of the bridge.

Pack your walking shoes! This is truly an unforgettable experience with fantastic views of the city and all the surrounding areas/attractions. Note: we only recommend biking the bridge if you have gears...it was a mistake I only made once :-)
