I love Ethiopian food and this place is a nice family owned business. I especially recommend the vegetable combo.
Great Ethiopian food. -268 West 135th Street between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard
Abyssinia is another favorite. If you haven’t tried Ethiopian food and even if you have, this family-owned local treasure is one of the best in NYC. They serve the best Injera in the Tri-state area. MUST ORDER: Doro Wot (chicken) and Awaze Tibs (lamb or beef). Lots of veggie/vegan options also. Open for lunch and dinner. They close early (9:30pm), so give yourself time to enjoy the meal.
