Get above the city, to the beautiful mountains just east of town. Take the tramway up, then take in the views.

There's an approximate 55 min. drive to the crest, or you can take the Tramway and hike 2 miles to the crest. There are numerous hiking trails throughout, plus the Sandia Peak ski area.

I love the views of my city from the top of the Sandias:-). It is such a beautiful and relaxing view! This is also a great place to relax and meditate:-).
