Beautiful and often empty swimming lake best May-September. Pay for the Freibad (City Swimming Beach - €2.50) or jump the fence on the northside and go free. Enjoy the huge Volkspark Rehberge, too.

Plötzensee is a lake where you can swim, with its own sandy beach, naturist zone, dining options. Great to go on a hot, sunny day to cool off. There is also a beer garden nearby where you can rent rowing boats
