Third largest National Park in South Africa, has expanded to conserve a wide range of biodiversity landscapes, and fauna and flora. Can be done as a day trip . Please let us know if you would like a full day or half guided Tour of the Park with pick up from guest House.
Addo Elephant National Park boasts' a marine section, it is home to the “Big 7” which includes the great white shark and southern right whale it is home to the largest density of African Elephant in Africa. Addo’s expansion now includes the Woody Cape Nature Reserve, which extends from the Sundays River mouth towards Alexandria, and a marine reserve, which includes St. Croix Island and Bird Island. It is the only park in the world to house Africa's "Big 7" (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, leopard, southern right whale and great white shark) in their natural habitat. Addo covers five of South Africa’s seven biomes. Addo Elephant Park is ideally suited to day-trippers and short-stay visitors. Pack a picnic basket, or dine at the restaurant, browse & shop at one of the curiosity shops at one of the camps.

Addo is about a 60 min drive. It hosts more than 450 elephants, Cape buffalo, a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo
If you love Elephant or game viewing a day trip to Addo will be a treat! Be sure to take stuff for a barbecue lunch and stop at the Brest area for a lovely lunch while the kids play on the lawn!
