The tow path runs all the way into Richmond, and then beyond to Kew and into central London, or out towards Kingston and Hampton Court. A great day's cycling, walking or jogging!

Newly opened - includes a selection of restaurants (British, Thai, French, Lebanese, American) as well as pubs on the riverside. 10 minutes walk.

It's a buzzing place on the weekends, especially in summer. You can take boat cruises or go kayaking on the Thames. There are lovely views- friendly ducks are often the focus point of the scene.

If you want to get out for a lovely walk then I suggest walking from Twickenham to Richmond along the river. This is something i’ve always enjoyed doing - some weekend mornings I walk (and sometimes even break into a small jog!) and then finish off in Richmond with tea and toast breakfast at Cote or if early evening I finish at the White Cross for something a bit stronger! (And then I bus it back!)
