Possibly London's biggest bookstore. A pleasant way to waste a few hours. Staff are nice, but not super knowledgeable - they get moved around between areas, and nobody can know about that many books! But they'll look things up for you. Students get a discount. Nearby Charing Cross Road is full of new and secondhand book shops.

Foyles one of the oldest standing book shops in London and recently been refurbished.

Possibly one of the best bookstores in town - there's a cafe on the top floor and a huge selection of books and magazines

A favourite of mine - good coffee bar come salad snack bar on top floor.
