Great long hikes, make suer you have adequate hiking gear and are familiar with reading maps/ trail markings as the park is large

Historical View of the old Cotton Mill. If you want to Hike, there are trails of varying intensities. We love the red rocky trail. Breathtaking views of the Creek. Bring water and maybe a bite to eat.

State park only 35 minutes outside the city with nice hiking trails and access to the creek. The trail along the creek is beautiful and many people like to hang out in the water with their families or dogs.
