Eugene has been shaped by longstanding restaurants like Poppi's Anatolia. Greek cuisine. Very low key and where the downtown professionals eat lunch and dinners. To us this restaurant is very romantic. You will have to decide for yourself. Sisy first took Scott here on their first date. We love the saginaki, kotta psiti and pappadoms. Vindaloo chicken is spicy (Scott's favorite). And try the hibiscus iced tea- lemony and floral, it will quench your thirst. If you are like Sisy and dessert must complete the meal, try the rice pudding (Sisy always orders extra cinnamon). Noonas also make a good chocolate and coconut ending to your meal. Staff is friendly. Keep in mind that this is a Eugene style restaurant and not a fast paced restaurant that you find in a metro. Oregon is peppered with the kinds of restaurants that are good, really good food, with kind people who care to cook and care for the guests.
