Tons of little shops and boutique stores. Pretty much everything in old downtown is a one-off local business. Shops range from a cookie and fudge place to high end artistry to kids stuff and a kitchen store.

Many old shops with handmade clothing, jewelry, and candy. A great family experience.

Truckee is an old west town and an important stop on the original transcontinental railroad as the tracks crest the Sierras through Donner Pass. With interesting shops, art galleries and good restaurants, historic downtown Truckee is a cool spot for an afternoon stroll, happy hour and a meal.
