A really well laid out zoo, with an interactive farm as well. The tiger feeding is pretty dramatic. It's worth remembering that there are several communal barbecues on the site so you can easily save money by taking your own hot-dogs or sandwiches.

NORDENS ARK is a great zoo with a lot of wild animals like Tigers, snow leopards, reindeers, wolverines and a lot more. Also local farm animals, it has a dedicated part for kids with a farm playground where the kids can jump into a haystack, learn about the animals and and go crawling in to a glastunnel visiting them, and pet the different farm animals. Nordens Ark is a zoo that preserves and breeds endangered animals, in Sotenäs municipality by the Åbyfjord. The place is located between Lysekil, Munkedal and Kungshamn/Smögen. The facility is operated as a breeding facility for endangered animals. Nordens Ark is open to visitors all year round On Nordens Ark there are about sixty endangered species that they want to save and preserve. There are mainly endangered species such as mammals from the northern hemisphere's temperate climate zones, birds, amphibians, reptiles and also endangered Nordic landraces. On Nordens Ark there is also a part to which visitors are not allowed. There, research and breeding is conducted on, among other things, various threatened Swedish insects and amphibians.
