Opened in early 2019, Bar Otaku is the latest concept from chef and restauranteur Sarah Gavigan, fulfilling her mission to open a traditional izakaya (a casual Japanese pub). The space is cozy and well-appointed, and its cuisine centers around Japanese soul food, with shareable plates ranging from greens to rice to raw fish.
