The City of Oxford strives to provide safe, attractive, and welcoming modern grounds and recreational facilities with an all new 370 acre sports complex featuring baseball, softball, soccer, cross country and track and field venues. In addition to the sporting venues, the Park also features walking trails, a beautiful lake, two playgrounds and and a Boundless Playground which is state of the art and fully handicapped accessible.

Whether you are in town for a tournament at the Sports Plex or not, Choccolocco Park has a nice playground for the kids, a walking and biking path around the lake, and even rents bicycles. Across the road, there is a place to rent kayaks that will drop you off upstream on Choccolocco Creek to paddle back down through beautiful tree canopied scenery.

You can rent kayaks and they will shuttle you to the start of about a 2 hour long float.
