Great local greasy spoon chili joint.

Closed on Sundays and Mondays. This is a greasy spoon. Anthony Bourdain. Spaghetti Red (chili on spaghetti pasta). Kind of place. It is special to Joplin folk and has a dish you can only find in this area (spaghetti red). They have a drive thru if you don’t want to eat inside the diner. Definitely a “hole in the wall” joint, but so delicious. We recommend trying the spaghetti red and tamales.

Known as an icon of Joplin, this little diner offers a tiny menu in a tiny space, but with giant taste and grand nostalgia. The authenticity of their food and their around the counter-dining speak for themselves. It is a "must" experience on Route 66.
