If I’m in that mood to have a nice, classy cocktail, this is where I'm going. You may not think of a cocktail as being part of a man’s overall style, but being stylish is the whole MO here. It’s dark, sort of Prohibition-style. All the bartenders wear collared shirts, braces (what we call suspenders), regular neckties or bowties. Sleek hairstyles. A good date-night spot. If you don’t have a drink in mind, let the bartender make you something he likes. These guys are super personable and knowledgeable. They’ll ask you some questions about yourself and, based upon what they hear, make you a drink tailored to fit.

An incredible high end bar if youre into craft cocktails. Most of the bartenders here are competitive bartending champions and it shows! Cool vibe for a before dinner or after dinner cocktail!

Detroit's original craft cocktail bar. 101 classic cocktails + an incredible seasonal menu expertly made. Hard not to fall in love here. If they're busy, walk to Gold Cash Gold for a cocktail while you wait.

The Sugar House, without question, is Detroit’s original craft cocktail bar, and located in the historic Corktown neighborhood. In addition to their foundational 101 classics, The Sugar House also features a rotating seasonal menu of original house cocktails and one of the deepest back bars you'll find in the city.
