In the old building of the Archaeological Museum of Mytilene, the visitors are presented with the history of Lesvos which dates from the last Neolithic Age to the late Roman period. The building belonged to the family of Achilleas Vournazos and it was built in 1912. It comprises of two floors and one ground floor.
