Victorian steam powered beam engine originally used for pumping sewage and water. Now open as a museum. Best visited on bank holiday weekends when the engine can be seen in operation.
beautiful park by the canal . is a nice walk and is forest alamos all the way trough the canal
A historic Victorian beam engine, formerly used as part of the London Sewage Works. It's located in a lovingly refurbished grade II listed engine hall. The beam engine has been restored and can be experienced in action on several open days in the year. A very special experience. The sheer size of the machine is impressive. It's set in Markfield Park, and there's a lovely café next door.
