If you have an interest in history, architecture, or spirituality, this is a great life reference point of interest. Great place to go sketch, medirate, or journal as well.

Another site founded by the Menils. If it’s a nice day, picnic in the park or near a serene water feature in front of the chapel. Unfortunately the chapel is undergoing renovations until the end of the year. It’s a place where meditation meets modern art – you will have to come back and see!

Very serene. You don't have to appreciate Rothko to enjoy the space and the reflecting pond with Broken Obelisk.

Relaxation, meditation, contemplation, art appreciation - all in one. This is what happens when artists Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman combine with architects Philip Johnson, Howard Barnstone, and Eugene Aubry to create "a stillness that moves."

The perfect place for meditation or reflection, this non-denominational chapel was founded by John and Dominique de Menil. The interior serves not only as a chapel, but also as a major work of modern art. Currently under construction.
