North Beach only approximately 15 miles from Marina Cottage. North Beach is laid back; it is used a lot by locals (from Tybee, Savannah, and Thunderbolt). It is a favorite for families. I like the fact that the restrooms are clean (impressive for a beach!). We locals generally refer to the beaches on Tybee Island as North Beach, Mid Beach, South Beach, and Tybee Beach Point.
